After college, Allison returned home to work alongside her dad and brother on their beef and sheep cattle farm in Gap Mills. You couldn't keep this girl away from God's Country and the farm life. In addition to wedding planning, she has been busy coaching the Monroe County 4-H Livestock Judging team, working on the couple's future home, crafting, and taking photos.
Allison is so excited she found someone that loves Monroe County as much as she. She says it is a bonus that he likes to help out on the farm!
Allison is the daughter of Larry and Pam Echols of Gap Mills. She has a very special brother, Andrew.
Andy is an employee at UTC Aerospace Systems, located just outside of Union, WV. Andy enjoys playing the guitar. Like his dad Tony, Andy enjoys working on vehicles and equipment. He also tackles wood-working projects from time to time, and tries not to miss an opportunity to help his dad operate the family's sawmill.
Andy's parents are Tony and Susie Tomlinson of Greenville. Andy has one sibling, Annie, who is a student at Mountain View School.
How we met
Andy and Allison knew each other in high school, but it was not until the 2012 WV State Fair that there were sparks between the two. The last night of the fair consisted of the two visiting with mutual friends, fireworks, and phone number exchange. They have talked every day since.
